UNMASQUE'D Festival Branding Identity
UNMASQUE’D attempts to take the cliched idea of Venetian Culture, specifically, Carnevale, and bring it into a new light. This postmodern interpretation re-contextualises traditional Venetian culture for a new audience to which, new meaning is brought.
UNMASQUE’D is a modern ode to the historical festivities of Carnevale. It is a festival of art, food and entertainment targetting young adults and the vast youth culture of Sydney. 
By nature, UNMASQUE’D is a highly modern event which attempts to recontextualise ancient traditions. For this reason, a strong digital presence is of utmost importance to the brands identity. Digital billboards and Web Banners aim to shock and grasp the attention of viewers whilst subtly communicating the essence of the festival.
